The Unioverse

Overview

The Unioverse is a new and innovative community-owned sci-fi video game franchise that aims to disrupt the current video game business model with community engagement and web3 technology. It is the brainchild of Wyeth Ridgeway and Tony Harman, two veterans of the gaming industry who have been following the rise of crypto and NFTs with interest, forming the Random Games Company game development studio to bring The Unioverse to reality.

The Unioverse NFTs

The Unioverse is similar to Star Wars in that there will be characters in the same style as Boba Fett, Darth Vader, and other iconic Star Wars characters. The company will have writers and comic books develop those characters, and when someone buys a character, they will get access to all Unioverse games as that version of the character. The Unioverse PFPs are essentially beautiful 3D animated characters that exist across all of the different games developed by the studio.

The Unioverse Collectibles and Claim Windows are part of a fun way that the company has come up with to gamify people's attention. Instead of the typical ways of giving away whitelists and airdrops, the collectible system is a way to turn the audience's time and attention into free airdrops. By holding onto an NFT, users can earn proteins that they can use to buy the first character, Reyu, with six more characters currently in development.

The forging and combining process is another website that the company is launching. It lets users create a more rare and valuable collectible by combining four other specific collectibles. This process rewards users for collecting all of the collectibles in a certain period, and they get a higher rare-tier collectible as a reward.

Protens

In the Unioverse, Protens are an energy source that powers alien technology. In the world of Unioverse NFTs, Protens are earned by owning and holding Unioverse Collectible NFTs. Users earn Protens by visiting the Proten Calculator page, which is only available on desktops. Once the user signs up for a Unioverse account and connects their digital wallet to the account, they can collect new Protens once a day.

Multiple copies of the same Collectible accrue Protens, and the system tabulates the total Protens earned. Although the Proten requirements for Reyu are yet to be released, Protens will always be useful in the Unioverse, and users should hold on to them. The Unioverse is set to release other Unioverse Heroes like Krishah, with more similar events happening in the future.

How to Get Started

Step 1: Visit The Unioverse Website

Begin by navigating to The Unioverse website at the following link: Unioverse: Proving Grounds

Step 2: Sign Up

Scroll to the bottom of the page and complete the sign-up process. You will be asked to enter your phone number and other relevant details.

Step 3: Connect Your Wallet

Once you've completed the sign-up process and reached the Protens screen, connect your wallet to your account. You can do this by clicking the wallet icon located at the top right of the screen.

Step 4: Download and Install the Game

Next, download the Proving Grounds game from the website via this link: Download Proving Grounds. Once the download is complete, install the game on your device.

Step 5: Connect Your Wallet

After installing the game, make sure to connect your wallet to verify the ownership of your Reyu Genesis or Reyu Clone NFT. This is required to gain access to the game.

Step 6: Link Your Wallet and Email

To ensure that you are eligible for the GAM3 Quest, link the same wallet address and email that you intend to use for gameplay.
