Safrootics

Overview

Safrootics is a free-to-play game for PC and mobile by Alab Studio where players can collect, battle, and grow unique creatures called Safrootics (or Tics) in a pixel art world filled with deep narratives and lore. Players can evolve Tics into new and more powerful forms, or trade with other players in the marketplace to build their perfect team.

Safrootics NFTs

Players begin Safrootics with one free Tic, which is not an NFT at the start. Players can nurture, increase stats points, and grow their Tics up to their level cap, mostly level 20. At this point, the Tic can be minted as an NFT and sold in the marketplace. Players can also purchase Tic NFTs on the marketplace, evolve them into rarer and stronger Tics, and equip them for PVP battles. The game features a Magix system, which allows Tics to counter and be countered by the powers of other Tics.

In-game items come in different levels of functionality and rarity. Some items provide general buffs, some of which have a limited number of uses and others have unlimited uses, making them more rare and valuable. These items can be kept by the player forever or until they decide to trade them. The game also includes various food items that increase the chances of encountering a specific Tic when used at the right in-game time and in the right location on the map.

Gameplay

Players explore an open world, using various equipment to search for wild Tics. If a Tic is defeated in battle, the player captures it in an orb. Each Tic in the game has its own unique appearance and will gain random stats as it grows, ensuring its individuality. Tic encounters are determined by factors such as the day and time, player location, and whether the player is using the correct bait.

Tics gain experience points to level up and become stronger. As they level up, they gain stats that are proportional to their growth rate, ensuring that each Tic is unique. Maintaining a high amity meter with your Tic grants it a powerful buff for battle. The PVP arena in Safrootics rewards players based on their weekly rankings. As players level up their Tics, they gain access to new skills, which can be selected to make them even more powerful.

Deep Caves are a PVE activity where players can use their Tics to enter caves for exclusive rewards. The caves are composed of levels, each of which can be completed by only one Tic. Once a level is completed, the Tic will not proceed to the next level of the cave and the player must choose another Tic for the next level. Once a Tic reaches its level cap, players can mint it into an NFT and list it for sale on the marketplace, or buy a Tic from the market. Tics that are at max level can be evolved into a new, potentially more powerful Tic starting at level 1.

How to Get Started

Safrootics is currently in Alpha testing phase, and you can access the game by minting one of the Safrootics Founder's Badge NFTs, which come in Silver, Gold and Ting rarity. The game is already available for download on Android.
