Chronos: Dawn of Time

Overview

In Chronos: Dawn of Time, you'll be traversing the dawn of time to explore a post-apocalyptic world as you fight fierce enemies. Each adventure you embark on outside of your home base is extremely dangerous but rewarding nonetheless. The loot you gather along the way allows you to craft equipment, potions, implants, and other types of items to further improve and expand your village.

Dungeons have become a dangerous place to explore due to the emergence of new enemies. Your goal is to collect rare crystals called Aether, which can be combined and traded with other players. You need to level up your character and choose from many different classes depending on what you enjoy playing so that you can complement your village as its population grows. 

Travelers

These digital avatars, or Travelers, are what make up the heart of the game. They arrived on Earth and are still figuring out how to survive and uncover the mysteries that surround them. Travelers come in many different forms: humanoids, cyborgs, elementals, magic wielders, among other origins. Each Traveler has their own characteristics and skillset which makes them stand out from the others. They'll help you in crafting and upgrading items as well as in dungeon adventures. Few know where they came from because they can't even answer with certainty, how they got to Earth.

Each Traveler NFT comes with preset stats in the strength, defense, intelligence, and other departments. These determines how your Traveler's playstyle in-game. However, you are not completely stuck with it, since you can level up its stats the more you play with it. At the same time, another preset stat is the Quantum power, which determines the loot multiplier you will have in matches.

Moreover, each Traveler features a Scaling trait, which determine how fast your character can level up and progress in a specific department. This means one player's character can easily scale its strength stat compared to its intelligence, even if they are both used equally throughout your adventures.

Game Modes

Chronos: Dawn of Time features a diverse variety of game modes to appeal to all types of players. Whether you want to know more about the Travelers' history and the world around you, the PvE mode focuses heavily on the storyline and unraveling the mysteries of all the characters around you. On the other hand, the Ambush and Extraction mode are designed for those who want to put their skills to the test against other players and prove their worth.

Of course, the latter two modes are much more rewarding in terms of loot and potential NFTs to be won, but at the same time puts your character at risk. The Co-Op Extraction mode present in Chronos: Dawn of Time is one of the few fully cooperative competitive experiences in web3 gaming that emphasizes teamwork and team synergy in making it out alive when the stakes are high.

• Storyline: Venture into the dungeons and uncover the world's mysteries through space and time, including main quests, side quests, errands, and challenges.
• Ambush: Puts players under the pressure of completing certain challenges, including defeating super bosses, hordes of enemies, or parkour obstacle courses. Each challenge will have different end goals, like surviving the longest, obtaining the most points, or completing it under a time target.
• Extraction: The core PvP game mode in Chronos: Dawn of Time. Consider it a 2D platformer battle royale mode. You enter a dungeon with other players, and you are tasked with gathering as much loot as you can and escape before the shrinking map gets to you. Your decisions on whether to engage in combat against other players to steal their loot or try to make a run for it to reach the extraction point as fast as possible.
  
• Co-Op Extraction: Players can go to PvP dungeons in teams. Make sure you create good synergies between your Travelers so you complement each other's strenghts and weaknesses in stats and abilities.

The Village

The Village is your operations center. Here is where your traveler will live and work. When you create rooms, you will be able to use resources to build some that strengthen your character and equip them with skills. Others can help you craft equipment, potions, implants and more. As the village grows, you may want to invest in more travelers who can work while you're offline or exploring dungeons that exist around your village location. There are also special rooms like the Expedition Center or the Interdimensional Breach which require you to achieve specific milestones prior to unlocking them. This is naturally done as you advance through the game's story and compete in its various PvP modes.

How to Get Started

Step 1: Visit Chronos: Dawn of Time on Elixir

Step 2: Sign Up or Log In

If you're new to the Elixir platform, click on the 'Sign Up' option and follow the instructions to create an account. If you already have an account, simply log in with your credentials.
