If you are coming into web3 and blockchain gaming looking for your dose of Age of Empires, Blocklords is your best bet in the strategy genre. Although the game is a bit far off, Blocklords has shown tremendous potential over the past few months with its progressive hierarchy system. We got to see their official cinematic trailer earlier today, and to say it looks exciting is an understatement.

The cinematic trailer was released exclusively through the Gamestop NFT social platforms. It showcased a king in his castle during war with catapulted rocks destroying his windows. While he was down and out in the ashes of his own castle, he manages to muster up the strength to wield his sword and defend his house, an honorable death in medieval times.

Blocklords was previously featured in our top 10 list as an honorable mention, and deservedly so. Anyone interested can go register and claim a free hero from Blocklords’ website. Players will get to experience the game in its early access phase during Q4 2022 or Q1 2023.
