On the heels of their latest Season Frozen Fates, Mystic Moose, the creators of the popular web3 game Mojo Melee, just announced their latest update that brings new features and festive fun to the gaming community. One of the community’s most requested features, this update is set to change the way players interact with their Champions enhancing the overall gaming experience.

Mystic Moose is an indie game studio and publisher, created by veterans from LucasArts, Activision and Electronic Arts. The studio is developing several interconnected games around the Planet Mojo IP, a story of nature vs technology set on a mysterious alien planet. Mystic Moose empowers their players using web3 by giving them the option to own their game assets as Digital Collectibles  - usable across Planet Mojo’s future games. The company’s debut award-nominated title, Mojo Melee, is an auto chess strategy game for browsers and mobile.

Champion Minting Now Available: Building on the success of in-game Mojo minting, players now have the opportunity to mint their Champions in-game as Digital Collectibles. To mint, players need to level up their Champions to level 20, after which they will receive a prompt to mint their Champion as a unique Digital Collectible to a Sequence Wallet on the Polygon blockchain.

New Champion Leveling System with Star Stages: Alongside the minting feature, Champions are now integrated into an enhanced leveling system similar to the one introduced for Mojos in the Frozen Fates launch. After reaching level 20, Champions can be upgraded to Level 1 - Star Stage 1. This process can be repeated, allowing Champions to progress through five Star Stages and unlocking new rewards.

Limited Time New Year's Costume: To celebrate the New Year, Mojo Melee introduces a limited-time New Year’s Eve costume, complete with 2024 glasses, a baby New Year diaper, and a top hat adorned with sparklers. This exclusive outfit is not only a fun way to welcome the new year but also a coveted collectible for Mojo enthusiasts. Players can participate in giveaways hosted by various streamers to win this costume or purchase it directly from the in-game Shop.

Mike Levine, CEO of Mystic Moose, shared insights offering a deeper look into the vision, recent developments, and exciting plans for the future. "The team has been heads down for many months, hard at work on the new season Frozen Fates, preparing Mojo Melee for our global mobile release and some groundbreaking new web3 features."

This update signifies Mystic Moose's commitment to enhancing player experience and expanding the possibilities within the Mojo Melee universe. With the ability to mint Champions, an improved leveling system, and festive costumes, players have more ways than ever to engage with the game and showcase their unique style. Keep an eye on the Mojo Melee community for more updates and join the fun with these exciting new features!
